Learning Outcomes

This course meets the education requirements for registration as a licensed builder in NSW. On successful completion, you will receive a both the Certificate IV Building and Construction (Building) and the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), which can be used to apply for a NSW Building Licence.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – Assessment via interview and portfolio of evidence is available to participants with relevant workplace experience in a building and construction environment. Online Learning – The learning environment provides access to study guides, assessment materials & submission links and online support from your assessor

Complete 19 units from the CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) and 27 units from the CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, to help you obtain your licence, we recommend that you have at least 2 years of experience in the building and construction industry, as well as a basic knowledge of the BCA and other standards.
